Chicken with apples

Serves: 4 people Difficulty ': Easy Preparation time: 1 hour 15 minutes INGREDIENTS 1 chicken, about 1.5 kg. 3 onions, chopped 4 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon ginger 1 packet of saffron 6 apples (rennet) 30g. butter 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon of acacia honey, salt, pepper PROCEEDINGS -------------------------- Peel onions and chop finely .

In a saucepan heat the oil and fry the chicken pieces with the onions for a few minutes. Add the ginger elo saffron. Add salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Add 500ml. of water, cover and cook on low heat for 45 minutes. Before the end of cooking, peel the apples, remove core and cut into quarters.

Arrange them in a pan with butter and cook for few minutes until they have browned. Add apples to chicken and flavored with cinnamon. Finally stir in the honey. Stir gently and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes. If necessary, add salt. Arrange the chicken with apples in a crock pot and serve.
